About Me

My photo
Stewart Vriesinga
I am a graduate of Trent University in Peterborough's Comparative Development Studies program. I have spent a significant part of my life in conflict zones --El Salvador, Iraq, Colombia, and in Canada-- in an effort to nonviolently promote justice for oppressed peoples. I am now retired, my passport expired, but continue to follow issues like human rights, geopolitics, Social Justice, and climate change. I am a skeptic, and never take the mainstream narrative of events at face value. Following this blog will provide an insight into my musings and questioning. I hope this blog will encourage followers to bring a healthy questioning of mainstream media and government narratives of events in a quest for the truth. Justice and freedom for all must be based on the truth, free from spin and hidden agendas.
